Aye Robert, ken fit yer saying...did ye see Trawlers rigs and rescuses this week? what a waste of money away tracing Paddys tracks to see if his reasons for being inside the 12 mile limit to use his phone was right or not
Hi Kev
Yes thought the same when I watched it - wonder if it was just for the camera's? - bit of a naff idea especially as they discovered that he could get a mobile signal and was telling the truth (allegedly). However, I thought the Irish boats Skipper had said he was using a satellite phone, so surely it wouldn't matter where he was, unless of course he was in a tunnel
Have you noticed the odd flash of MT100 in some of the 'cut away scenes' - wonder if she is going to be in one of the episodes proper?
Regards
Steve E.

he said the satellite phone was dodgy thats why he was inside picking up a terrestial signal. as for these muppets, just like bob yts says, there is no need for them in this day an age. what with satelite tracking, log books, shoreside inspections and endless changing legislation. another waste of taxpayers money. there was two cruisers in north minch last week. there was probably more fishery officers at sea up there last week as there was uk fishermen. f88ckin joke.
so true i can mind last few years these boats helicopters police boats all up loch fyne threw a creel boat thousands of pounds 4 them 2come up look around then go away again
