This was picked up in the Minch today by the Kaylana SY21, anybody know what it is??? Loks like a fin off a submarine but not sure.
Looks like some sort of rudder Iain.
Thought that too, just thought its possibly off a submarine.
Could very well be Iain, put it on e-bay and ye might get a buck for it
Might just get enough for the balls of twine to mend the net up!! Someone will know where it came from!

A rudder off something , with a least 54 cms draught , (5.4 metres 19'-0") as the depth marks on the rudder blade read.
not sure if its a rudder, but it definetely is 2 wheelie bins at the back :whistle:
I'd say that is what it is Steve, certainly looks very simillar anyway!!

Pretty sure its the top part of a nuke rudder they have a small piece on main steering rudder that turns independantly think its to increase rate of turn any way its worth a right few bob !!!!
