As some of you may know I'm also a member of t'other site but try to take two or
more pics at a time so not to duplicate but have put same pics on both sites.
My history - am Scarborough born but Scottish bred so to speak.
In 1952 when I was 18 month old my father decided to rejoin the army.
He was then posted to a place called Peterhead !!!!
4 years later he was again posted to somewhere called Milton of Campsie
I stayed there 'till I left school in 1967 and joined the army as well.
50 years later my elder brother still lives there, my sister did live in Kirkintilloch
but now lives in Kirkcaldy so hence the Scottish connection.
On leaving the army in 1980 got a job in Scarborough and have remained
but when Trawlermen was on telly 2 years ago had a yearning to return
to PD so went back armed with camera.
Later found trawler pictures site, got a digi camera and the rest is now
on the web.
Have now found something to keep me out of trouble when I retire.
Look forward to keeping on going with the pictures and occasional comment.
