Anyone know if the ex 1940s/50s Berwick lifeboat J+W became a fishing vessel? After service she was renamed either Amazon or Amethyst, but am not certain if she was used for fishing or pleasure. Am asking cos theres talk of her returning to Berwick as a restoration project.

J &W   Watson single screw class  length 40ft 6  br.11ft 8 on.722  sold 1957. became Amethyst LN.68 Service Portpatrick  1929 - 30.  Relief  1937 - 40. Berwick 1940 - 57. wheelhouse added to her at Canvy Island 2003
