been reading about this on a few weather sites, some predictions for 160mph in SE Iceland following down the north sea at 140Mph for a full 5 days!
they guy was getting slated for it, but a few are starting to think maybe...

i was just a boy in 1953, but i remember a severe northerly
storm, that breached the harbour wall and damaged the piers it even lifted the tarmac on the road at a distance of 30 ft away from the pier edge.
there has never been any damage since then and theres been a good few storms over the years..
that doesn,t bear thinking about a storm of that magnitude,
the ports better get hunting out the old wooden branders for shutting the harbours off .......

just been doing a bit of googling about on this lad.
beginning of october last year he made a prediction for November and december adn got it absolutely spot on!
lookinga tthe charts there's a fair wind on its way but mostly big westerlys at the minute... maybe it'll move round in a few days
