looking for some history/info on another one

Looks likely that I'm about to take ownership of another one in need of TLC, so trying to find some history

A wee Fifie Yawl, built 1906 (!!!)

got her as "Richies"  PD29 and beyond that I know nowt!

wonder if it rings any bells or anyone with any old Olsen's etc might shed a bit of light, previous names, where built etc

ta muchly!

(No - I haven't told my other half yet either!!)

listed in 1948 almanack as a sail boat, owner Robert Cordiner, 1.02 tons. Didn't she used to lie at a small harbour just south of PD? Can't remember which one tho. Think I saw her more recently at Johnshaven.

aye thats her, lying in Johnshaven still, wee thing, lug sail, although has had an engine at some point.  Am just about to stick a picture up

was she listed as 'richie's' back then?

she was, the owner was someone I'd talked to before via the blog (small world) and is a member on here, owns the ringer Amaranth over mull/iona way

She was t same name and reg in 1948, Mark. She was lying outside Richard McBays workshop at Johnshaven. Can't remember if he owned her or was gonna b doin work on her.

maybe been the same reg/number since she started then

she was moved recently and is lying at the south end of the harbour on the grass now I believe

built Fraserburgh 1905. length 5.00m.  was at Boddam c.2002
