I was amazed to find a whole site on Trawler pictures - what a delight!

I live near Tweed Heads in northern NSW and have taken a lot of pictures of the local trawlers coming in over the bar after a night out working, and some round at the mooring 4kms up the river.  I love the look of the working boats and when they come back with a flock of birds round them it is just spectacular.

I've been taking photos since I was a child (over 50 years now!) and just love to get as many varied subjects as I can.  I've had so many comments on some of the photography forums I visit and in Flickr that I have made up a 'Tweed Trawlers' calendar for 2010.  You can see it - and even buy one if you want (I wish!) here http://www.redbubble...-tweed-trawlers.
