Is the company that built Provider(E87) still in business?

Hi Octo,
The company that built Provider was called Steel Technique, they were based, as has been said on the the Isle of Sheppey in the Thames Estuary. There is another boat of the same design based in Plymouth, called Kinsman - PH 574. There are several photos of her on trawlerphotos.co.uk   -   Just put the name in the search box in the gallery & they should come up.
After those two were built Steel Technique altered the design slightly to include a radiused soft nosed stem which in my opinion improved their looks. The centre chine also had less sheer on it at the bow. Two more boats were built to this design, Lola K - BS 516, which works around the South West Coast, often based in Plymouth & Arctic Solitaire - LK 40 which is based in Shetland.
