Normally that message only comes up, if the vessels name and port registry aren't filled in, what port are you trying to upload to, and i'll have a look at the fields, see if there is a prob
I always see both sides of the argument, the one that's wrong and mine.....

Check to ensure that you are putting a name into the Title Box and also make sure something goes into the boxes marked with a red asterisk *

What port was it?, if you hit the back button when it says vessel name is missing it does throw the system for some reason,  if you hit the refresh and then put it in should be ok, will work on a solution to this

Hi Barry

I've experienced this a few times - if I try to submit an entry that say for instance doesn't have the file inserted in the browse field, I get the error message - then if I simply send the same entry with the missing field completed, the software seems to think that two entries for the same photograpph are being attempted - hope that makes sense  ;)

You must be in the correct category before attempting to upload pictures.

see this guide

http://www.trawlerpi...topic,78.0.html

A problem has arisen when uploading pictures when you fail the first time (wrong category) and then go back and try again. We are working on that. In the meantime if you restart the process (make sure all fields are filled in, correct category chosen etc) from scratch it should work.

Post here if you have any more problems

Usually you only get the error - enter vessel name if you dont navigate to the category first.

Could you please provide the following so that we can help you.

1) Have you watched the video I posted above (the full thing?)
2) What category are you trying to upload to?
3) Have you previously been able to upload and are experiencing errors only now?

Thanks

use resize software to make the files smaller
http://www.freeimage...ser.com/resize/    is a good free resizer
the file sizes needed for this forum are in this forum a couple of posts down
