I am just beginning to search for a fishing trawler that my grandfather Joseph Nicholson Leighton was the skipper of in the 1960's.  The name of the vessel was JD Graham and thats all I know at this point.  As a child I remember going to the fish quay in Hartlepool, where we lived.

If anyone has any information and could suggest where I begin my search I would be very grateful for any help.

i think the vessel you are on about was the [Strandby HL 7]  the name of the owners was J Graham and sons .
