Some learn by reading, some ask questions, others observe...but there's always one who has to pee on an electric fence for himself.

just acting in my capacity as unofficial music historian, you learn a lot of useless information after nine years on the radio, the best being that oban FM and west sound are sh!te!!!!! one fact i have forgotten is one of CN's forgotten sons who had his own show on westsound for many years, cheesy lookin b>gger, i've been all day trying to get online, having problems with aol, lets me log on but nothing else? so i gave up trying and just opened this up on firefox after i'd logged on. course could have done that hours ago but theres been a pretty bad sly stallone film on called daylight, he's made some crap but this one takes the biscuit, i couldn't get on last night either but got to watch a fascinating doc about the late joe strummer.
as for the guy mitchell? my mother saw him live in glasgow in the late 50's, him and thon fla that used to greet, c'mon, i know who he is, wore a hearing aid, so he probably gret cause he forgot to turn it aff afor he went onstage. must have been a weird generation, altho i was brought up from birth listening to the beatles and hank williams and other brit acts of the 60's soul obviously never reached CN, theres not one in my auld dears vast singles collection. what do you expect? i remember my uncle telling me aboot the busloads that went fae trumpton and the toon in the 50's to hear billy graham in the kelvin hall!!!!

Very difficult to find a joke connected to the KKK but here's a one that isn't racist at all:
A hundred years ago, if 150 white guys were chasing one black guy then it was probably something to do with the Ku Klux Klan.
Nowadays it's the PGA golf.
