HMS Ark Royal - R07 outbound from the Port of Tyne, North East England on 28th February 2010. Videoed from Western Quay, North Shields.
HMS Ark Royal was built by Swan Hunters Ship Builders' yard at Wallsend on Tyne in December 1978 and launched by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. So this was a return home to her place of birth.
