A bit of very sad news for those who knew him. Norman Sansbury, Skipper of the Friendly Shore (CT reg I think) of Port Erin died just over a week ago. I dont know all the details save that he was at sea and when his crewman went aft to see why he wasnt answering, the latter found him slumped. The helicopter came for him but it seems that nothing could be done.

Norman was a supremely experienced fisherman of nigh forty years experience, likeable, witty and esteemed by all...a very quiet man with an immense sense of humour. The words "sadly missed" come to mind and in this case they are no empty cliche. In fact, he will be horribly missed.
