The Cod Crusaders and Trawler Pictures are steaming North South East and West to launch their net in a bid to catch a haul of MP's to challenge them to a trip at sea, in order for the men and women at the helm of the Government Vessel to have a first hand insight to what the UK's Fleet constantly face on a daily basis.
Dumping valuable marketable species, draconian unworkable regulations, not to mention the emotional strain.
Carol MacDonald of the Cod Crusaders Campaign said" We want to catch our quota of politicians to witness for themselves that the sea's are plentiful and experiance the torture Fishermen are under whilst carry out their daily duties, this industry and it's reliant communities have had enough and it is time to stand up and say No to further cuts, but the politicians need to give our fight for survival the back bone it needs
Trawler Pictures website is run by fishermen for fishermen and would like the members that are at sea to back this challenge with out you there is no website
If you are interested forward your name and your boat details to the following email address
trawlerpictures@live.com and we will try our best to get some of our ministers that stand for our communities to be a fisherman for a day

Taking them out for a day is a waste of time.We had Allyn Smith,a SNP MEP out with us for a day and it was only a PR exersize for him so that he could get his picture taken and say he had been there done that. There was one went out on a beamer on the south coast for a few days that is what is needed.Put one of  them out with a big whitefish boat for 8 or 9 days  to see what Cod ect can be caught.Even better, out with the Trawlerman cameras aboard Sandy and the Terrior.
