The Killybegs based steel hulled 50 ft trawler SHAUN SHAUN sank at about 0630 this morning while taking aboard a shot of herring off the West Donegal coast . Her crew of 3 were rescued by her partner , the RACHAEL D, and taken to Killybegs . This info courtesy of RTE news . Will keep you updated , Sad to see another vessel lost at sea. but thankfully no loss of life .

last donegal seiner-end of an era for donegal- at least all the boys were safe.

BOATS CAN BE REPLACED, BUT LIFE IS SACREDlol, GLAD TO HEAR ALL ARE SAFE. :'(
