With reaching the 2000th member we are going to run another photo competition to give something back to the members for making the site what it is since its launch late sept early oct last year.
This time the members are going to be "tested" on there knowledge of our galleries, we will post a picture that any member (that is not admin or moderator) to guess which boat it is, each member will have one guess per day.
Of course this sounds too easy, but the picture will be split up in to sections so a set amount of jigsaw pieces will be released each day and the rest is up to yourselves.
The competition will start on Fri 17th july, the prize will be announced on Friday when the competition starts.

the next photo competition will start on sunday 26th july at 7pm.
the first was picked up after only the 2nd day by member Ffarquhar, who chose the book about the Buckie boat builder Herd & Mackinzie
there are two more books still to be won, one of the Jones yard and one of the Thomsons yards, the books detail all the boats the yards built, name changes and what happened to them or if they are still working.
