I am looking to buy a external hard drive tp keep all my pics and software on like photoshop and stuff only thing is i dont know anything about them so help please lol

Hi Euan

I use a Western Digital Desktop ExHDD 1TB Essential Edition - Easy to use, one end into the mains and the other into a spare USB. Plug and play - then its simply a case of using the external drive in just the same way as you would your internal drive.

PC World have these drive for £79.59@

You might get one cheaper if you hunt around.

Have a gander on E bay Euan, try and get one which is USB powered, you don't have to bother with a power lead with them, you can get a 160 GB quite cheap too O0

Well at  a Photo's Capacity - Up to 161,300 that should keep you happy for a while  O0

Aye well ive just installed the driver software and that now and all is looking good so now to move some files onto it

Aye i did that its working good now so it is computer is speeded up and the drive is working brilliant and another trip away maybe in the pipeline lifes good
