Yeah and the act was brought into reclaim money from gangsters and drug dealers. I watched a program on on bbc 1 last week about the nonsense of the supposed money claw back scheme, think it was Panorama, turns out they haven't got a hope in hell of reclaiming it off proper criminals, as they are getting out maneuvered by the lawyers of the head criminal guys, so instead the pond feeding suits have used it for a purpose it was never meant to be used for
I always see both sides of the argument, the one that's wrong and mine.....

Yes, watched that also - bloody disgrace, just emphasises that in the UK there are two groups of individuals, those who can afford to hire 'fancy dan' lawyers and those who can't. Those who can get off and those who don't have a couple of bob to rub against each other face the full force of the law - you see this with supposed celebs getting off with motoring offences.
A real pity that the two guys are going to be locked up - appeared from the BBC program that they were doing their utmost to get the money together. Hope their jail time cleans the slate as far as the debt is concerned
