Is there a helpline for members who are missing the gallery ? I'm getting withdrawl symptoms !

im suffering from severe gallery withdrawn symptoms, i.e started looking at pictures of weemin when the wifes no looking!!but ma symptoms are no that bad that ive got to look at trawlerphotos har har ill jist be patient, all the best the technical boys doing the upgrade.

Keep up the good work boys ..... This is a great site -good laugh and informative !!! We all (the vast majority anyway) appreciate your effort in setting up and upgrading the site. A good Christmas to all members!

dont seem to have an option to access my pm"s, dont see where you can upload a photo and the gallery pics seem to scroll up by themselves ?  , is there still a few gremlins yet with the new software ?

there is an envelope top right of the screen for pms, the big button that says upload on the gallery is to upload photos and yes there are still a few gremlins

there'll be a few niggles to iron out, but hopefully that had work is voer and done with now - been a nightmare - pretty much everything that can go wrong has!

there is tons of new toys in the gallery to be discovered, I'm sure there'll be fun and games with some of them I reckon, there's a chatroom too but we've not turned that on just yet

I'm gradually warming to these wee thumbnail pics and all the fancy bells and whistles on here now...even us auld farts have tae come oot oor caves at some point and meet the 21st.century! I've no quite cracked the case yet though,still learning,but so far so good lol A big vote of thanks to the backroom boys for all the hard work they have put into the site,and I don't mean just recently,that's been right from day one.It's much appreciated fellas.All the best to everybody on here,have a great Christmas and a very happy New Year whatever part of the country you're in.

maybe a bit of jumpiness just yet.  few wee glitches here and there so we have just set the thing away to rebuild all the images - 40,000 of them, and its got thumbnails, several different sized versions etc to create for every image, so will keep it busy for a little bit yet

I just canna get the gallery to work at all......seems it won't load somehow. Same on all my machines. Will just have to come back at a much later date. Good luck though and hope it all comes good. Cheers TD

cant quite understand as there has been members commenting on the gallery as well as uploading, you have to remeber we have moved onto a completely new software and at the same time try and rearrange 40,000 photos, 80,000 comments and 16,000 posts in the forum, as well as doing the jobs we all work at

Barry, wasn't having a go......it must be some job sorting this lot out. I just canna get the Gallery to work. It canna be a hardware issue as I tried on 3 PC's and my IPad.......the issue is .......the slowness, site freezing, and some thumbnails don't load........I wish I could offer some constructive help but I am as much use as 'pockets on a cat' when it comes to IT.....Good Luck and I am sure it will come good. Cheers

<p>on the left hand side davie click on the category you want to put it in, ie funny or maybe not so funny, then an upload button will appear follow the instructions  and job done, uploaded a pic y/day twice as quick as before, might huv tae nip up the masonic hill and get GW online !!!!
