Bad news hope they are safe somewhere.
Im not in the islands but reports from spanish captains tell weather is very bad littlebit south east and also just eastern Rossaveal.
Nearly all spanish fleet is comeing back home or ashore in the islands something that happened last year in this dates as well.

kind of hard when you've no idea about the area or distances involved, the dropped off somewhere comment is puzzling as i'm sure they wouldn't go unnoticed or fail to contact someone ofr three days, but i suppose any straw has to be clutched at? the fuel problem thing wouldn't have been helped in poor weather with filters choking etc.

Hi All

Latest report - But the trio themselves declined to discuss what happened at sea which led to a full-scale search by emergency services.

Skipper of trawler Banrion na dTonn Ted Doherty said as he arrived back in port. "No thanks, I'm not interested."

they must have steered the wrong course. if they were drifting the wind would have blown them close to the shore but they were over 50miles off. ???
Keep her on the wet bits!
