Hi
I am relatively new to all things boat, so be gentle! I live near to Scunthorpe - A place not exactly known for its coastline but I do have a River Trent 200yds from my door! I found this site whilst googling around for info on a double ended coble 'Hippo' I have just bought from Redcar (Damn you ebay!) And she is on here! I will add a post under that pic shortly. I intend to restore her for a life of leisure and the odd fishing trip so any help advice from experts much appreciated. Incidently one of my good mate's boats is on here too: 'Destiny' - a coble pictured on the slipway at Flamborough. Clever bugger built her from scratch in his shed!

bit further down (or up depending on your point of view!)  it was the little marina/yard at West Stockwith, now all gone pretty much.  marina is still there but nothing else there now
