If you do that you need to have ring net members faces, past and present. Then us "young" fellas will be able to put a face to a boat.

Ok, are we wanting a section in the forum as well and what categories do you want in it?
Will we put a sub category in a look back in time? just with ring netters or have a completely separate section split up into various sub categories
What info are we going to try and put in, builder, owner, and a bit of history and any stories attached to the vessels etc?
I always see both sides of the argument, the one that's wrong and mine.....

Umpteen choices Barry.  Given that the more modern ringers were trawlers too, you could end up with a pic and mix . How about a section in Look back in time, and to qualify for the site, the vessel should have a brailer pole. Unless of course, she was of an age before they were fitted.
It would make the site unique, and surely that's what we're all aboot. It would also save yer aulder members a lot of searching.
It would be nice if folks would get aff their erses and put their oar in. Come on lads let's hear yez.
