Any chance of having a Category in the Forum for somewhere for members to give a guide/description of Harbours/Ports, i.e. what type of boats/ships can be found there, whether the place is fully accessible to Joe Public etc?

Would be handy for anyone planning a visit to a Harbour/Port.

Just an idea :knuppel2:

Will do one for some of the ports and various beaches with boats round here if I get the time. How do you do one of those map things?

Hi Sam

This is the way I did it:

1. Find the location on Google Earth - then select 'save image' option.
2. Load the image up onto a location where you can draw up a hyperlink for - in my case I added it to one of the albums on my own web site.
3. Then just link the image from your write up on the Forum - use 'Insert Image' buton.

I should have mentioned if you want me to host a satellite/map view on my site just ask and I'll send you a link. if anyone wants any assistance with this just give me a shout :knuppel2:
