What would be the chance of the site having up to date registers of fishing boats in different ports. I would be interested in doing one for cobles that all users could update as and when.Would it be possible for the administrators to put on a spread sheet which could then be filled in?

Sure we could look into something, if for example someone was to offer to do Blythe, Amble etc, then a viewable pdf could be at the beginning of each Port, which the moderator of that port could upload and correct as the information comes in, also means people could see which boats we haven't got pictures of and fill in the blanks, any other thoughts more than welcome on this matter
I always see both sides of the argument, the one that's wrong and mine.....

That sounds good. I am more thaan happy to help with it. Iam at Whitby and could cover that paet of the coast and I am often in Northumberland with my coble at Amble. I also have a very knowledgable friend at Blyth who would help. Maybe each port could be subsectioned into reg and not, the latter being more difficult to follow as they seem to move more often. But I'm sure we could put together between us a very valuable resource.

Any chance of getting a spreadsheet set up then we could fill in and update the details. Facility for photos sounds good too.

Peter weightman (owner of Favourite and Rachel Douglas) already has a spreadsheet created I beleive, might be a year or so out of date, but I;ll mention it to him next time he's down the marina

Appears that this 'idea' is floating both here and in the 'other place'  :woodenspoon:
