I live about 6.8 miles from my place of work. I'm expected to make this journey to and forth five days per week.
I have to cross county boundaries and traverse about 400m of water by ferry which means I have to mix with members of the public who are working class.
I have about 5 weeks leave per year (Yes really I don't have nearly three months off in the summer or a month at Xmas)
Can I there fore obtain a second home closer to my place of work which could be paid for at public expense?

If this is unacceptable could I rent a room in my mates house, he reckons he could squeeze me in for about £50 000 per annum without making any profit

Thanks :D

Your being a bit generous there, what happens if you need to rent any porn or buy a new bath plug?

Ladies and gents we have received some valuable advice from one of our
members  - If this is teaching your granny to suck eggs apologies, may help with the wording of the question if you bear the following in mind
"make your questions as direct as possible so that they cant
squirm their way out by bluffing an answer around the issue! Even put some
"YES/NO" questions in there - "Do you support the industry call for
withdrawal from the CFP? Yes or No!"

MP's or even MEP's would probably prefer to have a four choices - Yes/No/Perhaps/Don't Know  :D

Hi Paul

What surprises me is why anyone would think that MP's don't have their snouts in the trough, after all it has been much publicised in the past about MEP's being on the gravy train.

It would be nice to say that its the few who are spoling it for the many, but it appears that thyey are ALL at it!

Did you know that a MP using his bycycle to travel on business is repaid at 20p per mile tax free  :D

right -here`s a question-when are the boats that fish with regulated gears in the c.r.z`s that can demonstrably show that their whitefish catch is as good as non-existant be exempted from these days? also why in these days of `green`fishing methods and carbon footprint i dump, you dump, vous dumpe' are we being stopped from using enviorementally friendly fishing methods of fishing such as gillnets and trammel nets .once upon a time there was boats chasing non pressure stocks like turbot that made a fine handy living but now you can`t go near it in a crz as you haven`t had a track record of fishing static nets in the past so-many years. how are you supposed to diversify when you`ve been pigeonholed?
bend it,and if you can`t bend it,break it.

Admin...If you can either find an MP (or any other public figure/servant come to that)or get any TV footage/radio tape of them giving a straight one word yes or no to any question however simple, that was ever put to them, then I will run the length of Princes Street stark boll*ck naked with a rose clenched between my buttocks :crazy2: :shoot2: :smitten:

Some learn by reading, some ask questions, others observe...but there's always one who has to pee on an electric fence for himself.
