This was my dad's first boat, Boy Sandy, named after his nephew, she was built in Ipswich in 1958 for the cost of £598.00, she was delivered by train to Garlieston, my dad is at the tiller.

iam the person the boat was called after and thats my dad empting the creels his name was george houston many a creel that was hauled by hand and many a lobster and crab came out of them for very little money fishermen dont know how easy they got it now with all haullers they got.
