Spirit of the Tyne seen unusually in the outer locks at Royal Quays Marina, North Shields, Port of Tyne (North East England) on 2nd October 2008.
The ferry is operated by Nexus and plys the route between North and South Shields.
The £1.9m ferry was built at the VT Halmatic shipyard in Portchester, Hampshire.
