Chary - BCK243

Chary - BCK243

Chary - BCK243 seen here in Hartlepool Marina on 16th December 2008.

Historically this former Trawler served as a Royal Naval vessel during World War 2.

Unfortunately she sank in Hartlepool Marina earlier in 2008 but as can be seen she was refloated!

nice bit of ventilation on the stem!   ;D ;D

looking a lot worse than she did this time last year
    Hi Mark

Well she has been to the bottom of the deep blue sea - well the bottom of the Marina at least  ;D

    Regards

    Steve E.
that bit was the better of the bits of rot when we looked at her, the really bad bits are on the other side

be a long time (if ever) before its fit to cross over to Ireland
She was built as the Arnhem Ins 117 for my uncle W. Campbell in 1947 before she was sold and renamed Chary BF228 , then to Buckie reg. BCK243
SHE WAS OWNED BY JOHN WESTON IN THE 70S, WORKED FROM SUNDERLAND THEN SHIELDS. :P
