"I don't like the big open seas
those big foaming breakers give me the quakers
it's the crinan canal for me "
Lock keepers always said plenty water on you go son then hard aground just where the pic was taken
sure the children walking to school heard a lesson in language that am

John, did Francis sell this Harmony to buy the TT24 Catriona/Harmony from Neil MacAllister? Another piece in the jigsaw.
Yes Brian, as far as I can recall she went to Iona or west side of Mull
Did Alistair "Krypton" MacPhail no have her when she was in Iona John?
Puddlejumper, that was a great "Para Handy" song. Ta for the memory ...
O the Crinan Canal for me. It's neither too big nor too wee!
It's lovely and calm, when ye're fryin' yer ham, the Crinan Canal for me!
.....Ardrishaig to Crinan's the best trip I've been in, the Crinan Canal for me!!
Another one was...
I've been aboard a puffer noo for weeks .. A razor blade has never touched my cheeks!
My boots have lost their soles, and my socks are full o' holes,
And there's nae a button left to haud my breeks.
But cheer up lads, we'll be alright soon.
We're passin' Paddy's Milestone, and we're headin' for Dunoon!!
