Have you seen the footage of her under full canvas in youtube Jay? She can shift, boy can she shift.

Will go look. I've seen her under sail off Portsoy ... as you say she can shift. Big fifies and zulus were capable of 12kts-plus in some instances and under the right conditions

Was aboard that day, making north throu' Yell Sound, bound for Faroe. August 2009. Skipper was Magnie Sinclair of Scalloway. 14 of us in all .. as fine a bunch of lads as you'd ever sail with. Can't remember the exact top speed but I saw the clock passing 14 knots. Tide with us, obviously. We'd just loaded up with stores etc in LK .. also a box of fresh herring. Think there was only one aboard that didn't have a spue .. and it wasn't me. I spued with the rest of them. Weather fell away as we approached Faroe.. enjoyed fried herrin' and tatties about an hour from Torshavn. Visited 3 harbours .. locals couldn't do enough for us. Trip of a lifetime. Got a bigger dusting on the way back!
crackin vid.respect to the skipper and crew very well done
