We tried a set of 4 ft. slotted V boards back in the 80s that were the same opening power as normal 5.5 ft Vs and they were the mutt's nuts.Made by Michael Blair of Dunbar (he was in my class at school and turned out to be as good and better an engineer as his father Stanley, and that took some doing believe you me). They were called "Dunbar Buffalo doors" and they did work all right, but were a bugger to shoot without couping, the spread was unbelieveable with a 520 on.I'm surprised that they weren't produced on the same scale as the genuine Bisons were...something to do with patents maybe??
