Seacraig

Seacraig

Seacraig seen here in Arbroath Harbour (Scotland) on 30th July 2008.

Anyone know anything about her? - Looks to me to be either a converted Pilot Cutter or perhaps a Lifeboat?

Yes she has been sold abroad.
Emailed from a contact who had seen her in September 2009:

"She has now made it across the channel and is currently lying in the 'nostalia-haven' at Sas van Gent."

Seacraig is a former Dundee pilotcutter build in 1952 by Millers and sons... she's only mildly converted but apart from the railing she's as she was at the end of her official career (1979 ?). She was then used as a dive charter by Inchscape divers Arbroath. In april 2009 I purchased her and sailed her to Zeeland (River Schelde - Holland) we even spent 4 days in Newcastle (missed opportunity?). Since then I have been refurbushing her to once again use her as a diving platform in the North Sea.
My wife refers to her as that "f*****g boat" because I spent more time on the Seacraig then with her... but the again Seacraig doesn't nag
