Big Bags

Ronnie Brownie, skipper of the Carradale scalloper Bonnie Lass III, helping to empty the chain bags in his sportsjacket and possibly carpet-slippers.  Famed for understating how he was doing by only part declaring the number of bags on board. The bags of course, were twice the size of everyone elses.

Skipper Brownie was and still is a legend in his own lifetime, having consistantly and very successfully  fished scallops from the Knapdale, Gigha and Machrihanish grounds in 3 decades, most of this time only working a four day week.
