Last i remember of this was as a house boat in RO with the usuall carbunkle hen house must have been '87 / '88 wot u reckon ronnie ?
Correct on both ! Early 70's she went to the channel isles for a couple of years after Campbeltown then went up to Oban for a few in the mid-late 70's. Apparently ran aground off colonsay needing some repairs ( if you look at the arran photo her bow has been altered). I've heard Liverpool but mainly 80's & 90's on or around the Clyde. Again apparently she sailed for scarborough in 2000 but never got there. I've even heard legand that she could outrun the fisheries but I'm sure she'd never have done that
this one was fishing out of campbeltown in the end of the fifties when i was fishing out of campbeltown.many time saw all the nice varnished boats looking lovely well look after.
What a great picture!!!
great photo, of a bonny ringer
