"Slurry Express" 130,000 tons,loading at Taharoa..North Island New Zealand.The cargo of ironsand (taken to Japan for steel production)is pumped aboard through the hoses on the starboard side as slurry and the excess water gradually pumped out. Pic taken from the company chopper.My uncle is the ship pilot/loading master.
