how much for a new filter/s??? a little overkill no?
am not sure price of filters someone will probally know on here thou,,what a do know is you get other makes at half the price cat charges what does exactly the same job
Cnt agree with that after spending all that money on a brand new cat the last thing i would do is try and save afew pound putting chaep pisshy filters on it.

They'll be the same filters, just painted yellow and doubled in price!
same as there oil its all refined in the same factory just like castrol is twice as dear and only in 20l drums compared to others in 25l

used to be able to nod off lovely to the sound of a cat purring away, volvo and a cummins were never the same, tho i expect you'd get two cummins engines the same size for the price of that cat!! probably get one for the cost of a complete filter change on that engine, a job that i found easier on the cat as on a cummins tho i'm sure there are old old old members who will have tales of cracked knuckles on kelvins and the like, memories of cat turbo chargers are bringing me out in a sweat. the price of that engine would keep me in sugar free treats for the rest of my life!!
