john the bomber brown
john andrew christopher brown...
known him that long i can mind the days when he used to only kid on he wiz fill at the weekends!!!!
not a bar i was ever that familiar with so i could well be wrong but it has a look of being downstairs in a pub where he used to annoy me at least one weekend a month by coming up and trying to sing a duet with me, it was usually easier to let him than spend fifteen minutes trying to get him to feck off and sit on his erse, a verse and a chorus of something by the quo or the stones usually kept him happy, he never did have any taste!!! still doesn't but he'll naw see ye wrang,
the point about his name, i was in school with three john browns, the bomber being one, the other two being the sons of joe and wattie broon of true token fame, known locally as nutty john who is a grade 1 piper and local legend for leading my sons pipeband to two world titles and his cousin "howye" john who after a dozen or so years at the fishing became an ambulance driver.
