    good photo of gordon brown
when i was a small boy (9) i came off the valaura midweek wi seasickness. howard was paintin the star of david at the time so i spent the rest of the week pestering him with enthusiasm. anyway, we sailed out of the harbour after painting to "let her dry a bit" an lo an behold somebody shouted up howard to say there was a sailfish knockin about. handle down and away we went. i will never forget creepin up on our unsuspecting victim with howard at the stem on the trigger and a young rab jack at the helm following careful pilotage instructions. that gun gave some clatter ill tell you!! shook her from stem to starn. it was a sight to see the beast hauled up alongside and the flensing taking place. oil everywhere!! something i will never forget and a great experiance.
Happy memories JT. That's a BIG b*ugger of a fish. Can't remember that event for the life o' me.But seeing's believing!
Re herts guts o' it:-  Think that's why I'm knackered today! Them were the days when muck wuz money!
