Seacliff Harbour between Berwick and Dunbar

Smallest harbour in uk wouldn't want to try and get in today a bit choppy.  Cut out the rock with a steam hammer in 1890 cracking place to visit.

North Berwick had/has a pond-board arrangement for the harbour entrance -is there a similar option here ?
It's had one at one time old crane above entrance and slots in wall
Same as the inner harbour at Stonehaven Jim.
Good to see its being used -I hate t see empty harbours!

Bob , must be 7/8 years since I saw the North Berwick " gate " - slots looked whole & battens & crane still there . Bigger the harbour the greater the chance of some " Desperate Dan " wanting the gate open at 3 o`clock in the mornin - wonder how often they were used ?
