A replica Weaterhead wheel house has been built , it is in sections awaiting fitting and looks ok , it remains to be seen how things will develop but so far so good
I know you have put in a lot of time and miles to get things moving. Well done Chris and we look forwards to seeing the wheelhouse in place.
someone ought to ensure adequate, simple, vents are fitted ... up through the wheelhouse for a couple, well forrard and, as there's a big "dead air" space aft, then at the very back end
I looked in the forward end which had some ventilation it wasnt as bad as I thought it could be ,but I shudder to think what its like in the aft end. It could be argued that buildiing the wheelhouse first was premature but it does get things started and anything can be sorted if the desire to do so is in place.
money is tight but there are one or two small grants available for such things , 0.01 percent of the grant provided for another static exhibit the Cutty Sark would be great
