Great picture! Is the skipper sittin on an early Recaro or a fish box on its side!?
A fish box??...deary me,how quaint and old fashioned is that sorcha...us posh Dunbar lads had a purpose made fully fitted howld board that slotted into place nicely in wee shaped pieces either side of the wheelhouse...Bostrom Viking??...who he? lol
Oh we were very definitely posh lads KY,we used tae empty the auld tea leaves oot the pot every night and start the next day wi' fresh yins,ye cannae get mair high class than that surely!
Oh aye Young Ronnie ! An was the can a solid gold pail wi an ermine trimmed rim!!?Lol
If only it had been ermine instead o' black rubber(no even smooth rubber,it was ribbed)...ma erse has still got the marks on it yet fae yon stuff ...it wisnae just colgate toothpaste that gied ye the ring of confidence back then!!
