Ok so there is not a good slipway in the Forth to take decent sized boats and that looks like a good set of tracks, so any idea what is happening to it Folks?

    Cheers
    Bob
i know one bit off the sheds is used for car valeting
more to the point where could you   get a skilled workforce to operate the yard or boats to keep it going
The boat at the top of the slip is a fair size and is on a cradle that sits on the rails, the boat inside was at least 40ft but there was no one around who knew anything about it ,
Story is they are building houses or flats there used to take some big boats up there 50 odd footers easily
    Built 70 footers there
going back to the war years they built 112 foot motor launches.
Used to be a busy yard prob last fishing boats built there were 4 highlands and islands als did lot of RNLI work at one time.
the 4 HIDB boats were around 1967-69. After that came hectoria UL45, built as a prawn boat but also capable of passenger cruises. the final fishing boat was in 1982, Pride of wales BK291, a 40 footer for haydn Jones of Anglesey.
