Lying in Peterhead.
is that the persevere he is along side ally?
Looks like Silver Lining sister ship to Trident she was lengthened after trident sinking and renamed Perservere .
Thats the Stanhope inside of Salamis
Lying astern of them.. James Tait's Day Dawn PD136, built Woolwich 1975. Became Alex Tait's Dayspring FR306, Jim Third's Elhanan FR152
where was the Stanhope built?was she later the Peterhead Fearnot,
Built at Bute in '75 for Strachan family of PD, under Peter (Shoney) Strachan. Mainly a seiner, but I remember seeing her in Ullapool when she was new, at herring pair trawl for a very short time... Was Fruitful a while under Pete (Jackson) Buchan. Arthur Macdonald named her Fear Not, I think.
Trident and S.Lining were they built at Rothesay as well? AlsoI think some fishing boats for east coast (steel) were built at MacLeans in Renfrew around this time-dont know the names though.
She looks like she has the same wheelhouse as the Trident and Silverlining?
