The Hope
Good on you Ronnie, know the other KY boat?
The other ones number disnae ring a bell John, sorry.Cracking good photos these, lovely looking vessels they were too....yon's what ye call bonny looking boats. Looks like a launch day photo at St. Monance(48/49?),you can see the old kirk spire on the top right.
Thats the Auld Kirk in St Monans in the background there. Hope was a Millers built ring netter.
Ye must have been typing at the same time as I was editing my comment Mr.McB !!
Aye great minds and aw that!
Great minds ??....mair like pure coincidence lol Thought ye would have kent KY 140 though....you're slipping lad !!
Reliable source tells me, seemingly both KY140 & KY 167 were neighbour boats and worked a foursome with the old Stormdrift/Summer Rose pair of Dunure in the Minch.
I think the Hope's neighbour was the Good Design John but I don't know her number.
KY 140 is that not Good Design Ron, try and put feelers out on jungle drums
