how did they manage to square the gear up?
we could surge a turn to even the ropes up when theyre coming in together.

if shooting into a tight bit of ground or tide was going to turn on us - skipper would tow a rope on either side - kept gear square just in the normal manner - saved a good few hauls doing it this way
