    what year was the reels fitted   78?
    I will need to check with my Dad but I reckon a wee bit later 80/81
    is he towin for prawns there?
    Seine netting for hake in the Clyde during summer
    must be a different way to when i was at it?
    always had both ropes on the same side?
    how did they manage to square the gear up?
    we could surge a turn to even the ropes up when theyre coming in together.
    if shooting into a tight bit of ground or tide was going to turn on us  - skipper would tow a rope on either side - kept gear square just in the normal manner - saved a good few hauls doing it this way
    we live and learn ,as they say..
