    Hi Fincutter

    Right enuff!
Funny thing is that Alex Noble list her as Chrystal Sea ... I took it off the list instead of looking at nameboard
Anyway, built for the Mansons in Mallaig
She's a really big ringer - 61ft - and must have been bloody fast
    Anyone know of her fate?

    Jay
Exceptional detail in this shot. A great set Mark.

    Hi Dunard
This pic has always been inspirational to me
    Trust life treats you well

Always thought she was the second best ringer nobles build the Saffron was always my favourite
Was the Saffron not Weatherhead?  If it is the Saffron i am thinking of. She is my favourite also, she was one of the last super ringers built by weatherhead..  Great picture, not sure what size of engine? 240 Kelvin or 230 Gardner possibly?

Saffron was indeed a final series Weatherhead
    Crystal Sea had a 240bhp TS6 Kelvin
The Saffron I am talking about was built by Noble's of Girvan in 1951 BA182
She was a bonny boat built for Turner & Willie Mc Crindle ( pin)
