Please Dont Tow Through My Reef

No chance of a tow through this coral reef as it is 50 miles inland - SeaWorld, Florida, USA on 18th September 2009. Seen through the glass and not through a set of goggles!

Sad thing is that, unless the problem of reef destruction (including as a result of trawling) is solved, then it will only be places like this that have healthy reef ecosystems

Please elaborate does all trawling damage reefs or is mid water ok or are you having a go at scallopers, prawners? do you have first hand experience of this damage or is this an unsubstantiated opinion ?
I would like somebody to tell me where all these reefs that are ment to be destroyed by trawling are and now we evidently have an expert on site to educate us.Come on Jay,i have only 21 years experience as a skipper and have never knowingly towed on a reef in all that time but if you would care to elaborate on your statement then mabye i will be enlightened.You keep the holiday ones coming Hightower,theyre a site more cheery than thon boring coasters.
