owner promises me he is trying to be as tasteful with the refit as he can be, he lives aboard with his partner and kids and said the hoose was rotten which surprised me as i used have the delightful task of stripping it back and sanding it and giving it several coats of varnish every year, but suppose  wheelhouse was thirty years old when he got her, the one they have on show in trumpton is like brand new and it had the odd dirtyclean in its time. if he'd get shot of that stupid netting they put on when it was in IOM it would be a sight better and that shade of blue too, looks like shit, gimme three dry days and i'd burn her back and have her looking braw!!!

a year later, wonder how she is looking now ? i know i said i could paint her in three days last year but it would take at least a week this year, need two days rest for each day worked, took me four days to make a pair of three foot gates that would have taken me four hours twenty years ago, mind you theres naw a nail or a screw to be seen, or unseen, and the hands look like a pair of gloves somebody has blown up, feengirs laik sodigers, canna feel my legs, but i'd still lift a brush, plus i've got a new burner the neebur found in her shed, wid get her back to the wid in no time.
