Must have been taken early 60's , one of kelly's boats loading coal for Ireland
Almost unthinkable these days, Tarbert boats lying in Campbeltown with the wheelhouse doors left open and unattended!
They would be fishing at the Broon Heid around March April for spawney herring
a couple of fifer trawl conversions there,,
they appeared 64 onwards,
radar appeared 67/68 onwards.

Grand to see some good boats George.
from left to right those three boats in foreground, are they a noble,s fae the broch, noble,s girvan, then fairlies on the inside??
L to R, Evelyn TT58 built Nobles FR, Village Maid TT25 Nobles Girvan, inside boat is either Stella Maris or Fiona with her neighbour up ahead of Maid, Boy Danny and is it Moira lying together up to port of Evelyn? And could that be Westering Home on Maid's port shoulder, no often I am right but could be wrong again and stand to be corrected no doubt
