Pullers

Pullers

We have all come across them in the course of our daily work both ashore and afloat and they come in various shapes, sizes and types....Total Puller,Absolute Puller, and the top of the range model the Complete and Utter Puller are the ones I'm most familiar with, although there may be other versions that I don't know about.

don't know about left and righthanded versions but i do know i nearly lost a hand with a set of these once and was told by wee john it was because i was lefthanded, he never loaned them to me again and i thought for years that they must have cost a fortune judging by his reaction, then i saw my first screwfix catalogue and discovered you could buy a set for not much more than a tenner!!!
i'll need to go lie down now, oh, i am lying down, i'll need to put the recliner full out, the boy just came in after seven hours of manual labour, first days work i've ever seen him do and he's actually quite cheery, he must have got a few folders to put in his hip pocket, wait till i tell him i've to get a percentage, well a chinese carry oot at least!!!
